Rob, I don't think he's talking about reality. It's realty. As in, you pay and then "own" the pixels on the site.

Anyway, this looks like a tacky version of milliondollarhomepage.com to me. Not too much can really be done to improve it, except having someone overhaul your header.

Whats the purpose in even giving a critique that will be full of other people's adverts, of their own design? Just seems like this thread is a sly form of promotion.

I don't hate it, but that's because I have not seen this before... I guess I've been away from the quick buck scene for a while.

The top banner looks a little unprofessional. Like the other people have mentioned, you should use this concept on a page that offers the visitors something. Maybe have a 5 x 20 set of pixels and actually provide a service on the rest of the page.

That looks really bad... the word "free" blinking ontop of the ".20" made me close the tab really quick I would say you need to start over. And next time don't include anything on this image http://www.virtualrealtyexperiment.com/assets/images/vrefree.gif the flashing shadow has got to be the worst thing about it.

I really don't see this site going anywhere. Like everyone else said. It's been done. Move on and quit trying to get rich by copying what made someone else rich. They got rich off of it because it was a new idea, not because they copied someone elses idea.

- Inappropriate website name. Why would I want to have anything to do with something experimental? This may not be the message you are trying to get across, but as a first time visitor, that's exactly what I understand.

- Animated gifs like that are cheap and nasty. I left your site as soon as I saw them.
