    <description> &lt;p&gt;Answer is no as frontpage would have to be set to default the extension (any extension) and by default it doesn&#039;t have one unless set by user.&lt;/p&gt;

    <description> &lt;p&gt;hold on.. I&#039;m not talking about the file  suffix.. html, php, etc..&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I&#039;m talking about the    part that  comes usually where the HTTP  might be..&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;if you change that part you can get a link to be handled by other programs.. (e.g. FTP)&lt;br /&gt;
(or  FM7 for filemaker  FM7://website/tomas.doc  would try to open tomas.doc with Filemaker even though it&#039;s not a Filemaker file..  I want to know if there is a similar protocol for Frontpage...  i have this feeling there is.)&lt;/p&gt;

    <description> &lt;p&gt;Microsoft Frontpage doesn&#039;t have a specific file type, it&#039;s just the universal .html, .htm, .asp, .php etc. The user configures how to open these files on their computer, so you can&#039;t control it. The answer is no.&lt;/p&gt;
