I like black and grey but in this case the black text is to hard to read on the darkish grey.
Also there is a horizontal scroll at 800x600, trim your margins a bit.

The display pages need to be the same as your main one, not sure if your using a database or static but some of the images need to be on a dark background and some don't.
The page navigation is also missing the page number your own, just having the number would be helpful.
Is there really still a demand for animated images? I would of thought clip art in general would be slim pickings. Maybe loose the animated only titles and make it so you could move into clip art or stock photos in the future without to much distruption

Hey,
I clicked on one of the categories and wanted back to the homepage - but your logo on the top isn't linked with the homepage and the "Resource-Navigation" was replaced by ads. That irritated me. (Hey, and the ad says something like "sex contacts - search singles and pairs for group-fun etc. pp... )
Never break your navigation.

Could it be, that there are some sites in the old design?

Andreas

Looks ok and organized at the moment, you just need a little sass for the logo/header area, lighter hues of blue and grey and maybe some gradient here and there, this coulod look really good if more time was spent now with the graphics part...

Free Original Graphics - revamped

I have completely re-designed the site. Thought I would get a nice looking template. CSS - big learning curve!

Thanks Megan for the great advice.

I am working on a logo. I wonder if graphic samples on the main page may slow the loading time. I will definately look at this though.

I have aligned the text left and it looks so much better.

In the sections that have more than one page - it does say Page 1 etc at the top. I may have assumed wrongly that visitors would realise there are more than 1 page.
I will look at this again and re think this.

Thanks again.

Hi glambam,

SOrry it took so long to get to reviewing your site!

The overall layout isn't bad and it's great that you did it all yourself in HTML. It could use some spicing up with graphics and a nice logo.

The other thing I'll comment on is that there are no samples on the front page. It would be nice to have a visual cue for what the visitor can expect to find on the site.

In the sections that have more than one page it owuld be good to have the pages navigation duplicated at the top of the page as well as at the bottom. For some of them I didn't realize there were more pages.

Oh, and don't center text on a page. It makes it hard to read because the eye has to jump back and forth to find the next line instead of going back to the same starting point every time.

Good luck!
