    <description> &lt;p&gt;Internet Explorer has trouble with the transparency in PNG-24 images, which sucks. That&#039;s really the only way you can do it at the moment, cos GIF&#039;s don&#039;t use a large enough palette to be able to create smooth edges&lt;/p&gt;

    <description> &lt;p&gt;When you export it you can set the &#039;matte&#039; colour in the optimize panel, choose a colour close to what it will be sat on top of, that might help it look better&lt;/p&gt;

    <description> &lt;p&gt;Yes it is saved a gif. I just tried saving it as a PNG but the background isn&#039;t transparent. It will only appear on the light gradient background but I added it to the red background so you can see the problem better.&lt;/p&gt;
