UPDATE: I have changed some minor things over the past few days. Some of the big things were the bgcolor, metatags, lowered price, added/changed motivational quote on top, changed some colors, etc. Can I have some feedback on the new site as a whole?

In the next few days I plan on bulleting some information on the front page to make it easier to read, get more testimonials, and maybe change the quote around a little.

Comments please

How can I make it clearer on my site what to sell? I thought I made it pretty obvious with the title and stuff...

Yeah I think you are using one of those hosting templates you see around once in a time. It looks as if you put together different sites to make a whole one, also I can't get to see what's the site about. Try a description at the top, something that identifies your website. Good luck with it, if something else comes up, come we will help me out.

I think the template you have used for the site is very fitting, but the all white background across the whole site does make it a bit dull.

You may want to experiment with different light colours just to see how they look, even if its only down the side of the site and not behind the text. Maybe a really light blue may work, a bit of experimentation should help.

I think the font used on the site is a good clear choice, but maybe their is a bit too much writing, because people can get bored easily when siting reading for a bit about something they may need quite a lot of convincing about in order to buy it.

Maybe splitting the text onto other pages. i.e. put all the bonuses on a special page that opens up and has loads of colours and really the shows the benefits before they are bored of reading.

Or you could try and bullet-point the text abit more so people can read it more easily or they may be drawn to the bullet points because it must be some important info if its bullet pointed!

good start with the site though, and good luck with it.

I agree with the above, I really like the header. But I think everything below the header does not fit in good look wise

I agree with the above...the wording is to big "I was sick and tired" and it is too wordy. Short and sweet and maybe an image or two to get your point across. I really like the header though..bright and colorful.

"Never pay consumer prices again" is a bit hard to read. Make it bolder or a differet font

the book/box, whatever it is "wholesale guide" does not fit in with the rest of the site... you have these "professional" images in the header then this plain graphic that doesn't quite fit...

Megan wrote: http://www.wholesalechecklist.com/

Those gigantic headers have to go - they're way to big. Use CSS to style the H1 tag.

Hope that helps,

I'm not sure what part of my site you are talking about here. Can you please specify? I will work on your other comments ASAP. Thanks.

http://www.wholesalechecklist.com/

The problem I have with this site is that I'm really confused about what it was offering. It took a bit of clicking around to figure out that you're selling some sort of list of wholesale retailers. Maybe most of your visitors will know what they're looking for before they arrive on your site, but I think the whole thing should be explained more clearly. The front page is that big huge quote text, which is very vague in terms of explaining what this site is offering. Then there's a big huge chunk of text that nobody is going to read. Try to break the basic premise down as tightly as possible so it can be explained by a few bullet points.

The "actual price' listed on the purchase page makes me skeptical. It seems like a hoax when there's that much of a gap between the "actual" price and the "sale" price.

Some of the other pages seem very stark in comparison to the home page. Those gigantic headers have to go - they're way to big. Use CSS to style the H1 tag. Something else should fill in the content areas here as well. Even a picture on the purchase page would be good. Or some testimonials in a coloured box or something. That testimonials page is no good if you've only got one on there. And that font size is too small. About 5 testmonials would be needed to make it look like you actually have some content for this page.

The contact page also makes me a little suspicious because there is no name or email address or any sense that there is a real human being behind this thing. I don't know - maybe your audience won't have this problem but if I was looking at a product like this I would be concerned about getting scammed.

Hope that helps,
