See "Thread Tools" on the top right of the topic? Click it and it'll drop down, press "Subscribe to this post" It will then give you the option of whether you'd like to get e-mail updates.

Also, in the User CP - accessible by clicking Control Panel on the menu at the top of the page, you can change how the forum automatically subscribes you to threads.

If you always want to recieve e-mails when answering threads, go to the User CP then select "Edit Options" on the left menu. On the page that appears you'll see "Default Thread Subscription Mode" (the second item).

This section has a drop-down menu where you can select whether to recieve e-mails when new posts are written for topics you're subscribed to.

Like your website idea by the way.
