    <description> &lt;p&gt;When there are code errors there will be display issues, so you need to work on that first before getting into tweaking layout.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;At a quick glance:&lt;br /&gt;
You have no doctype&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Your closing head tag is below you body tag&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;You&#039;ve got dashes and an amersand in one (maybe more..this is just a glance) of your image file names. logo-K&amp;amp;R-small.jpg....you would name this like this...logo_KandR_small.jpg. You use underscores or make it all one name such as logokandrsmall.jpg&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I also notice that the globe is very distorted telling me that you&#039;ve resized the image in the browser insstead of making it the correct size to begin with.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The first thing you need to do is to &lt;a href=&quot;http://validator.w3.org/&quot; class=&quot;bb-url&quot;&gt;validate your code&lt;/a&gt;, and then after the errors are corrected &lt;a href=&quot;http://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/&quot; class=&quot;bb-url&quot;&gt;validate your css&lt;/a&gt;.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;See how things work after the underlying structure is correct, and if you still have issue then we&#039;d need to look at tweaking layout.&lt;/p&gt;
