Right ive messed around with the config file and ive updated stats yay butttt the thing is my awstats say ive used 27 mb bw but cpanel says ive used 40 mb so whats going on there?

there isnt an update now link, it is the awstats that is installed w/ cpanel

Hit "Update Now" at the very top of Awstats on the right of the last update

Is there a way to update awstats manually? Because it says it will update every 24 hours but it hasnt updated in about 29 now...

i dont have a high opinion of awstats and webstats etc, they are very limited in what they do. You might have to get your hands dirty and go through your raw logs, then you can see what is really happening

Its not bots cos awstats has a seperate section for bots and spiders and there are not hits in that section

You will get a lot of bots looking for form mail and phpbb weaknesses, ways they can spam.
keep an eye on your logs and block bots only by name, not by IP as most are faked and dont use/have a formmailer script. If you do, put it in a folder that is not for public
