Thank you for cleaning up the css for me. you did it exactly right.

I (unfortuantely?) liked an aspect of my mess before where the orange background flowed aound the

links and created an offset sort of look. Is it possible to recreate that effect in both bowsers? Right now, newtest1 is the OLD one. This Here is the one with your fixes.

The menus are messed up too - this is what I did to fix it:

I took a look at this and I think the problem is with the width of the menu there. The width of the rest of the divs are set in pixels but the menu is in EM's. So that's why it's bumping it down below. Change that width from 11 em to 180px and it works.

ok. I got the centering thing fixed. I also added some content to the "content" DIV and now we can see how IE renders the page wrong.
