I agree the posts might not be relevant and many will just keep on posting for the reward, so maybe you should introduce a points system and offer something for free to the members when they earn a certain number of points. Make sure you have some guideline on awarding the points. Give them points only on quality posts or posts in main categories only. This might help in getting quality posts from members.

I slowly making progress with the webmaster forums with both design and memberships. I may offer something for free for a certain number of posts, but I am worried they will not be relevant or helpful posts. Any suggestions?

You must be refering to the relevant backlinks finder. It's still in BETA and their is a lot to work out for better results. It will improve as the kinks are worked out. I'm glad you're still a fan.

Oh Im still a Fan mind you but I experienced problems with some of your tools, all I remember at this time is that when using your link exchange tool it doesnt show any results in whatever keyword...

Thanks. The reason for the forum is from member requests after filling out a survey. I then create it, and few of them actually sighned up??? Anyway, your are no longer a fan because some of "them bugged out"
Which of them "bugged out" in your opinion. And exactly what do you mean by "bugged out"?

In my forum, I was given some great advice to get members on my forum as follows:

contests/rewards., but they involve payng for referrals. This is a great idea, however, my wife can go into labor with our first child at any moment and I cannot afford to pay. We are now down to one income. We all have our anxieties, and this is a wonderful time for me despite finances. Is there any other way? This is aplea for help. Maybe I should just let it ride, but I've worked so hard. Sorry for all of the babble, but venting helps (like free theorapy) if there is such a thing.

Thanks Megan for the advice. You make a lot of good points. I have some different forum topics in Q, but I don't want to overwhelm visitors.
