in my sig shouldn't it have come up without the url tags, what there arn't any www.

Usually there are skins and themes available for different bulletin board systems - I'm not sure about Pro Boards though. You could try switching to phpBB which is a lot more popular. The more popular the software, the more free graphic sets available.

What sort of background images are you looking for? Anything in particular?
