you don't state your ACTUAL disk and traffic requirements - because it might be time to think about a VPS or dedicated server is you're pushing enough bandwidth...

I know it's against the rules, for which i apologise to the site admin and everyone else for, but Highland Webhosting does everything you need.

This site is hosted by NamesCo (see affiliate link at top of page, the rules don't allow affiliate links - and we can't be hypocrytical - so am not going to post a link here).

I've also used them for several years without a problem, and with very good response times. They're big enough, but not so big that their customers mean nothing.

consider site5.com and hostgator.com, off the top of my head I think they offer what you need.

I swithed from earthlink hosting to aplus
here's the unix plans aplus

I don't have a lot of experince with providers so others may know of problems or issues with aplus. I just know that you are given all the tools (control panel) you need for complete control. You get some free hosting domains. You get some "marketing" tools, personal blog, advanced blog, and more. With the PRO plan you even get a cart system (oscommerce) installed and ready for your customization.

Their knowledge base answers my question 90% of the time. When I do call I get assistance withing 3-4 minutes. They have been patient and helped me with "newbie" questions. The biggest issue is understanding them. I believe all the support is Indian (as in India) though I could be wrong.

If anyone else has had poor experience with aplus I'd like to know... so far I'm very happy.

Only down side so far... site statistics/reporting...
The installed pack only reports the "top 30" of any given report and the configs cannot be changed. I had to find and install my own reporting package (took about 20 minutes).
