The large hosting packages can be full of fraudulent claims, but there are definitely good legit ones out there. There's a few that spring to mind that put more emphasis on customer service than making a "quick buck", but you just have to quiz the host to the point that you're happy with what they're saying.

I would advise calling them up several times over a couple of weeks, and ask the same questions but in a different order/worded differently. This should glean the truth out of the host and will let you make the right decision.

Can I recommend 3dpixelnet.com, I've been a customer there for over two years now. The customer service is unbeatable and the uptime is well in excess of 99.995%. I honestly don't know if there are cheaper alternatives, but at the end of the day if you have to rely on another business to the extent that a reseller does, you need to be sure that they are 100% reliable.

I agree with Tim, one should be wary of such offers like large hosting package at a cheap price. You can't afford downtime for a longer period, you also need good support to back it up. So reliability is the key to it. A reliable host may charge more but it will definitely provide quality service.

I would beware of extremely large hosting packages for extremely cheap. Often they are legit offers, but they have terrible/nonexistant customer service and too much downtime.

I've heard good things about reselling through Pair.
