The font for me was very difficult to read and the navigation menu seemed proportionally small. I also agree with the previous post that the customer needs to know what is in it for them.

Im no expert but i will share my as I see it with you,

The lay out looked good but the color of back ground seemed to dark for my liking.

I have found dark lettering on light back ground much eaiser to read.

When I first looked at it. I saw you were going for something a bit original, and I kudos to your efforts. It needs some visual work. Maybe a few nice graphics.

However the code and all image setup is not so good.
I checked out the source and saw

On the http://www.lewishickey.com/locations.htm page it would be much better to get rid of the map and have the full office locations, telephone numbers and email addresses.

It's not a website basically. The code is filled with either empty table cells or spacer gifs. I haven't seen anything like it since 1998

If the purpose of the entry page here is to blab on about how marvellous lewishickey are to anyone who will read it, then it succeeds. However it does nothing else, like many business sites. As a business they should be finding out what their customers want and giving it to them.

The words "WE" and "OUR" appear an incredible 17 TIMES on the homepage, while the words "you" and "yours" appear 4 times, which I think just about sums things up. I find the homepage dark, unattractive, and downright arrogant. Who would want to read all that guff, and what do they get out of it?

Customers of ANY business listen to "WIIFM"- whats in it for me? They are not getting any offers here so far.

One things I do like is the layout, simple and easy to navigate, although navigation links are a little sparse. I think it would all look FAR better on a light background, what's the bl;ack about anyway? Someone have a bad hair day that day?

Anyway, no offense meant, and good luck with the site.

OY, OY, OY!

What we have here is a site constructed of nothing but images! Baaaaaad idea.

• No text content - no search engines can find and index this site
• All images sites can be a nightmare for dialup users
• Your site can be rendered un-usable if the server goes wonky and images fail to load
• No text content for persons using screen readers

You really, really, really need to get rid of those 'text images' and replace them with actual text.

Confusing Navigation

The home page is attractive, but when I get into the page the navigation confuses me. You have to redo your architecture so that users can easily go through your site. Its difficult to understand quickly which labels are links and which are not. It should be made clearer to the users.
