I have hosting at pairNetworks, and have domains from 4 different domain name providers pointing to the same accounts. On Pair's end they set up a directory on my account to be the root and give me a dedicated IP address and which of their nameservers to use. I then change my domains to use those name servers and no problems. Actually it is easier for the domains I have hosted at pairNIC.

OK. I took the plunge and bought a web address at 123.co.uk and a hosting account at xsitereg.com.

When I open the hosting account I get taken to https://hostingmanager.secureserver.net/

and via the control panel I can see that my server address is:

64.202.xxx.yyy (I taken out some of the IP address just in case there are any issues with posting this).

I can ftp to this address Ok and upload files. What I am not sure of though is how to forward my domain name to this address?

If I forward just to http://64.202.xxx.yyy then I get a message saying I have not uploaded the files properly.

Any help would be much appreciated as I cannot find anything about this on the hosting site support.

Cheers,

I buy all my domains from 000domains.com and host them all under one package from Host Affection. It's how I've always done it.

That's technically not true. My hosting provider resells domains, but they are not an actual domain provider. So my domain provider is Go Daddy, and my hosting provider is Insomnia Interactive.

Thanks Tim,
I had a look at the source code on both of your sites once they load up and they look OK. One has PR4 also so no SEO problems there. Question answered I believe.
Off now to purchase a few domain names.

I have a couple of websites set up like this, if I understand what you're talking about. I have getasiteonline.com and tandswebdesign.com set up on the same actual hosting package, but you could never tell, as far as I can see.
