PiercedCandy wrote: OK, I am looking for some help here. I am building a site and want to have people email each other links from the site but I have no clue how to do this. I have spent 6 hrs trying to figure out the Java scripts for this but I guess I am just not smart enough. Anyways. I am hoping to set it up kind of like they have done here: http://curiousauctions.com/item.asp?itemID=563 where when you click on the part called "Email this page to a friend" a link pops up. I am very beginner like when it comes to Java so if anyone can create a code or something for me that would be awesome! Or show me how to do it even. My email address is gobucs97@email.com I can't pay anyone for their help but I can give you some free body jewelry from the piercing and tattoo parlor that I work at if you would like. A little help would be awesome if anyone can spare the time. Thanks so much! -Dave

So are you looking for a "refer a friend" type script that refers the page link like this one?
http://www.searchbliss.com/email-referral-box.htm

Hmm! I guess there has been a forum glitch. Ok at the risk looking dumb I'll answer the post that isn't here

ASP is what runs your site backend.

Take a look at blooberi.com or candsdesign.co.uk Pick a page on the site then use the "Tell A Friend" link from the main menu and send it to yourself.
If that does what you want I'll do a write up and make the code available.

Java or javascript? they are different things entirely.

It would be much simpler in ASP though
