that said, chances are your customers won't notice. they'd be surfing for a long time before they found an indentical site. i doubt they'd even remember if they did.

And you've got a nice looking site out of it.

You could easily hire a fairly good web designer for around $30 that would at least get you a unique template, rather than having 30 different ones that have been used hundreds of times all around the web.

Darren - check the width of the table and see if it's in pixels (px) or percentage. If it's in percentage it might do weird things. Or is it resizing in the HTML editor? That's a problem with tables - if they don't have a width defined they'll do weird things (and might still, depending on the HTML editor and browser).

If you keep having problems post a URL and we'll have a look.

Chris - 30 for $30?? You get what you pay for! Chances are those have been used a lot, and they're not super great quality to begin with. What you could do is use one of them as a jumping off point for your own design and customize it so it looks more original.

Hi I have purchased templates, but when I try to use them they keep resizing themselves, is there any way I could lock a template so I could just type in what I want?

I'd be willing to bet those have been used hundreds of times. Using templates won't give you the professional identity you are probably looking for. It is really worth it to find a good designer to develop a custom template.
