    <description> &lt;p&gt;Are you destroying the objects each time otherwise they will only be destroyed (and free the memory) when the script ends (or go out of scope). &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Use unset($DBlink) to destroy them&lt;/p&gt;
