Content is king. Lack of time limits how much content a person can find and read in a limited time. Any system that can filter and select content could be a marketable system. Right now, I have many Google news alerts set up, where I filter them into Outlook folders for later consumption. But this only covers news sites, and it would be nice to be able to monitor other sites (and not just those with RSS feeds).

Ok, I know theres a bunch out there but theres none that merges all of these, like its a site ready script, heres a scenario: I make a site, welcome them on the site with news or whatnots whatever the contents I may want to show first (which is easily done already) there is none that automatically truncates contents by options BTW, next its like the same site but its somewhat community based, wherein they are interested so they registered, more like a forum they exchange thoughts, but in a way your like hosting a blog for them but your not, your getting contents from what they post that you moderate and its shown like an independent part of the page, their profiles is more like the friendster profiles or multiplys profiles, if we can make this, it would really compete with those big time...

I feel there are already TONS of blog/CMS systems out there and there is no need to re-invent the wheel...

as for your second, not totally following... seems like a "members script" with story (article) submission?

And to you, and everyone else... yes. If I take and run with an idea, free script for them

if I give you an idea and you decide to make one, would you also give one to me as a compliments?

Heres what I was thinking and I havent got the time to make one,
A Blog type PHP script which stores data flatfile based, (now this part is easy) it will not be actually a Blog, its more like a CMS but has the easier accesibility of a Blog, there are no date stamps just incorporated comments link and an optional summarize link(when you have texts that exceeds an assigned value it truncates the whole thing and automatically adds up a "read more..." link.

Also on the sidebar an incorporated login script for members that can make the same contributed articles on another public page we can call "public pages", can be moderated only by the admin, member profiles can also be publicly displayed... Now if we can do a first beta of this, we can evolve it to a much better platform...

Can you do this? I know you can...
