GIMPShop (as said above) gets rid of all of GIMP's bugs. (Natively, GIMP is awful on Windows - it crashed everytime you wanted to do something like change the font or the colour etc!)

There is a reason why it is missing GIMP.

I put this list together providing editors which anyone could install and use without problems, as several editors were not included for that very reason, including GIMP.

GIMP can be buggy on some Windows machines and requires the renaming of 2 dlls in order for it to run, provided it still does not crash. Of course, it did not help with a previous release of GIMP that they provided a GTK installer with the wrong runtimes.

I have other programs on my Windows machine which use those 2 dlls and I do not care to play the rename game when I want to use a program. (largely because I am frankly lazy )

I do have GIMP, but it is installed on my Linux machine.

For The GIMP, if you still use Windows, you may find that GIMPShop is A) More familiar if you've used Photoshop and B) Doesn't crash so frequently on Windows.
