Outlook doesn't support anything... Not even mail . Oh yes, I did just go there!

Well I am working on a calender for my old high school's website. My old web design teacher has this dream that if we allow all the teachers to post their own events. The students might go to the website to check events and due-dates. I figured I would put a RSS for the events for the next 30 days. I see it more usefull for something sutch as FireFox bookmarks rather than for a mail app.

What u think?

Not to my knowledge, although there is "iCal" which basically does the job of an open calendar format.

Basecamp - project management software - uses both RSS and iCal. It makes sense for them to be seperate as RSS is for news and always occurs in the past, iCal is for appointments, meetings and milestones that will always occur in the future.

Mozilla Sunbird supports the iCal format: http://www.mozilla.org/projects/calendar/

Funnily enough - even though MS were key to its development - Outlook doesn't support it.
