Thanks for all your replies, I have made some of the alterations suggested and I do think they have made an improvement, I have also tried to take the banner right across the page but when I preview it in the browser it has not moved any further.

Just keep the content the same width as the banner and the footer like jeeves said. It is hard to find the menu so maybe put it in a pink div. I also like the forward and back links at the botom of the menu but its hard to tell wich page your on so put a header at the top in large letters.

PS. I think you copyright should have the date it was created on in it.

As vibins said your titles should be a little more comprehensive, this is important, especially when you consider that's mainly what Google users see when your site appears in a results page.

Your logo - and I don't know how much you can do about this - looks very 1980's, it's that gradient effect that was really popular at the time and also the font is very Buck Rogers. Again, I'm not sure how much you can do about this.

Try making the design one width, it looks a bit uncoordinated at the moment, when it's a single width you can place some kind of border (real or assumed) around the whole thing.

I found it a bit difficult to find the menu, in this case I believe it would work better along the top of the page (just beneath the banner). Also you seem to be repeating the same thing twice with "Karmacolors" and "Aura Photography" both appearing twice at the top of the page, this seems to be a bit of a waste of space.

Hope this helps, certainly sounds like it's better than the last attempt so you're making progress.

O no naming a page home is just as bad. People looking for your service on google are not very likely to click on a link that says home.

You also seem to be having some alignment issues. Whaen i have more time i will have a closer look.

ok people, I have now completely changed the web site karmacolors.co.uk
so if anyone can give it another look and give their comments I would appreciate it very much. I am having one problem with it, and it is naming the home page, I did change it from index html and when i checked it in browser a different page came up.
I am new to this so please give a honest review and not a slagging off one.

It's a good first (I'm guessing) effort at a website. Believe me, I've been through a time when I thought a bunch of different colors, and links all over the place, was really cool, but it's not. It's very unprofessional and turns people away.
