Cheers for the comments. The photographers logo is definately a problem - the only copy I have is appalling quality, and efforts to touch it up haven't really worked. I think I'l lose the image all together, and go with plain text.

the combover never works really, but we shouldn't mock - could be us in a few years! Shudder!

however the logo at the bottom left hand corner on the home page seems hard to read.

Seeing as I should have been sleeping two hours ago, this is a quick first-impression critique.

On the main page there are three things that jumped out at me:
Box 1 - It should be "Francois", not "Francios" perhaps? And it seems that there is an uneccessary line break after "reminds you". Check this!
Box 2 - Too many font-types in the agent info. You have underlines, italics, and boldface going on, sometimes in combination with eachother, making it look very patched-together! I think everything after the "by:" should be straight plaintext with exception of the linked email. Line breaks are enough to denote the different details, in my opinion.
Box 3 - Poor Lois Tema. Her logo doesn't show up well on the light background. Perhaps spend 5 minutes cleaning up that image?

I don't have time tonight to explore the site, but it does look very good. Perhaps add the "text-align: justify" attribute to large bodies of text. It gives sites a cleaner, polished feel.

True, but I doubt that my client will want to pay me to redo the logo.

The client is happy, and he doesn't want to spend anymore money, so I'll move onto the next project, and deposit my cheque!

My slideshow broke today for some reason, so I'm having to rely on an old HTML version, so it might ook a little funky while I rejig the site about

the designer should have retained his original psd files if he was using photoshop or psp files for psp if hes any good and he should provide you with them if u ask.

Thankyou very much - the logo is unchangeable - he got it made for $45, so that tells you the quality of the designer. I offered to ake a new one, but I'm not doing it for that price!

He wanted to have a retro feel, first I did site with a worn look, but I think he thought it was a bit too retro, so I went for retro/modern instead

You need to scale the text size quite large before the email overflows, which I hadn't done - however, some people will, so thanks for the heads up on that.

I moved the copyright symbol into the green area, but it caused a gap to appear, and deadline was fast approaching, so it was comprimise time! The client hasn't said anything, so when I have time I I'll go back and fix it.

The validation errors come from stuff that yahoo (the hosting services) puts on the page - I have to see about changing that. The CSS validation tels me I need to validate my XML document first! ARGHH!

Thanks again for all your comments. I'm toying with the idea of going freelance full-time, so any advice is valuable! Just got to find out if there's enough work, and i have enough talent to compete... vamos a ver
