That's because you have already logged on to AOL and are given FTP access.

The thing is that if you type [url]ftp://members.aol.com/*******/incoming[/url] you can copy and paste files into the folder without having to type passwords or any kind of login information. so surley if its that easy to do you must be able to make a simple upload form to do it?

To upload, you need some server side code to save the file on the server. so with only AOL free space you probably can't.
