Welcome to TWF, diceventures! Thanks for looking at some other sites first

You're right about the main text. It looks totally out of place on the main page. The styling is really inconsistent with the header and navigation designs. I would take out that surronding table and do a simple header using either navy blue or red (as appears in the navbar). That blue colour doesn't match anything else in the design. The text should also be much smaller, closer to the default text size. It looks like you made the font bigger because you couldn't think of enough to say. Perhaps a bigger photo would work there.

Speaking of photos, take a look at that little photo in the bottom-right corner. Those people look like they're walking off the edge of the page. In general, photos done at funny angles like this are hard to work with. It's important to amke sure the perspective works right. Any angled photos should also lead the eye into the content, not away from it. Notice how the guy pointing on the right side is leading the eye directly back to the logo. That's a good use of photography.

If this site is focusing on Canadian programs only the tagline under the logo should say so (just to save time for anyone else who might come across the site).

The navbar menu items should have hover links on them. I think that's to be expected these days.

Otherwise it looks really good. I like the template a lot - it's very clean and professional but not boring. The colour scheme is good, the photos in the header are very well done. I do sort of wonder why those people are blindfolded but whatever. I think some of the navigation text could be a tad bit bitter - especially on the left side and even more so on the bottom. The bottom navigation is just a little too small to be comfortably readable.

Good job overall!
