I didn't say you didn't but lets assume you have a 200GB hard disk and your plan offers 200GB of space. Either you are giong to have one plan per server (which I doubt) or you are over selling...

Good point well made Mark. I actually started out with the latter, higher priced plans. Now my customer base has built up, I can reduce the costs and increase the resources.

It does take a load of time though. I've been doing it 18+ months now and the profits are only now starting to some in in reasonable amounts...

There are only 2 ways to make a profit in hosting. One is to have a lot of customers paying small amounts and spend all of your time and hours supporting your customers. The other is to design a site for them and charge them a larger monthly fee for hosting and maintenance of the site. Your plan of offering unlimited everything may get you some business but in the end will fail.

Probably no-one but that indiactes you're planning on over selling where you offer more resources than you actually own on the assumption that no-one will use it all.

It can work as a marketing ploy but from a business perspective its a slippery and non-cost-effective route to follow...
