    <description> &lt;p&gt;What you might want to do is find a free or low cost template to work from.  Then you can study it to figure out how it was put together while you&#039;re building your site with it.  That&#039;s an easy way to get something that looks decent, quickly.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Otherwise you&#039;re going to have to spend a lot of time learning how to use your software.  What a lot of us do (or used to do), is make a mock-up of our design in the graphics program first.  Then you would slice it up and plug it into your HTML. Personally, I use a hybrid a lot now, working back and forth between HTML and the graphics software.  It takes experience, but you&#039;ll learn.  Just keep plugging away.&lt;/p&gt;

    <description> &lt;p&gt;Well...you&#039;ll need to learn how to write html. There are a multitude of places on the web to learn and books you can read. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Do a Google seach to find tutorial sites, and check out Amazon or even your local library.&lt;/p&gt;

    <description> &lt;p&gt;being a much better coder than designer, I usually let the GD come up with an idea as a PSD (Photoshop) which I then recreate in HTML and CSS as closely as possible.&lt;/p&gt;
