PLEASE review a few other sites as per the posting agreement, this is your second thread site for review and you have done one review only.
Everyone follows our simple guidelines to keep it fair and even for everyone, please do the same.

Even after proof has been given that long pages aren't liked you're still sticking to your guns, how many reviews (around the web) from folks have ever said "gee i love that love page", or "You need more info on there".

We, the reviewers have all said the same thing, its to long and looks like SPAM, we, the reviewers would be your potential customers, we, the reviewers are telling you what is turning us off from dealing with you.

Very useful and interesting website from Sun Microsystems.

However, having an open mind (just as you should), I know that it's the
long sales letters that "STATISTICALLY" and "PROVENLY" always, always,
ALWAYS outpull short ones on the internet.

Funny how: trafficsecrets.com (60+ page sales letter) made 1 million
in less than 18 hours.

Of course, I know! It's actually very difficult to have a long one, while
keeping the interest of the visitor.

One of the hardest parts of building a website, sometimes, is coming up with content. You've got plenty of that. Just very poorly organized. Personally, I wouldn't read beyond the "Quit Smoking Box" on the first screen full. In that space, there needs to be something compelling the reader (err surfer) to surf on.

Honestly, it strikes me too much like the tons of spam I get everyday.

Sorry, but on the internet, that is generally incorrect. Studies, including this one by Sun Microsystems show that users hate scrolling.

All these comments are greatly appreciated...

However they applied to the old version of the site, which
was almost totally changed!

Including the content, the length, etc...

As for length, we all know: LONG COPY OUTPULLS SHORT.
They may be people that don't want to read all that junk, but the
proportion to those that DO is larger.

For those that do think it's kind of "scam-ish", what would you change
on the letter to NOT make it "scam-ish"?

(I will now go and review some more sites as the moderator has instructed

Too much scrolling. You should split content in few pages, and like the others said get the navigation. Agree with Andy, change the font.
Btw my wife and me stopped smoking six months ago.

You'll find your site/page looks more professional if you switch to a nicer font like arial or verdana. Times New Roman is really out of fashion at the mo.

Seriously, does this stuff actually sell? "Using the power of your mind..." More like "You'd have to be out of your mind to buy this rubbish..."

This is tripe and it's playing upon peoples weaknesses, I've just given up smoking and know there is no easy way, there is no magic bullet, just the hard way.

Interestingly enough, your marketing approaches have some parallels with smoking:

It preys upon the weaknesses of your mind: "I have to smoke to have fun," becomes, "I have to use this method to give up smoking."
Continuing to smoke is the easy answer to giving-up, this is trying to - wrongly and impossibly - become the new easy answer.
Smoking is a disease of the mind, it is a lie. This website is a diseased spam-meme and also a lie.
Smoking exploits the smoker, it bends the mind into thinking you cannot live without smoking. Your site is designed to bend peoples minds into thinking they cannot give-up smoking without this, so-called, magic technique.

There is NO easy way, stop ridiculing those that have given up, and exploiting those that are trying.

I am also agree with all of them. I can not name this URL as a web site. There are no main menus, no colour shemes etc. Yes there are lots of information on your web site, but you should group and name them to let the visitors find the information easliy. That's also called usability of the site. There is too much to work on this site.
