Very nice looking. Just a few nitpicks:

1. "The time now is Tue Mar 29, 2005 4:49 pm"
Perhaps:
- It is now
- The time is
- (or just blank. No need to state the blindingly obvious.)

2. To the right of the navigation, there is some text or graphic that I couldn't quite make out until I took a good look. Turns out it says "Navigation". See option 3 above.

Looks good! As a huge fan of anime, this is definately someplace I'd post.

You have WAAAAY too many forums for only 30 registered members though. Consider trimming them down a bit...

I too think it beautiful. That header graphic is gorgeous.

I also agree a rollover on the menu links would be nice.

Speaking of color, I think that a different color, or at least more difference in the reds, would be in order for the new/no new posts.

For my last thing, I notice that all your text is a sans-serif, while that "home" tab is a serif.

I agree, looks great! Sugestion though. Try mouse over on the nav bar. Just a change in color or something. Just a sugestion, no need for it but you might like it.

This looks very nice. It's definitely one of the best looking forums I've seen posted here. However, you are making the same big mistake that every other new forum master makes: too many forums. The more forums you have, the more spread out your post counts are, which just makes them look smaller. Who wants to participate in an empty forum? Nobody. Start with fewer, then add more as needed when you get busier. I don't know anything about Anime, but I'm sure you don't need four separate forums about Gaming and WEb design when that's not the main topic of the site. One general forum for each would suffice, and that's if you really think your members should talk about that here. Many of your general discussion areas should be reduced too. Remember you need to moderate all this too.

The other big mistake, that most new forums make, is putting the boring forums at the top. News, Site Feedback, News, and Help are not things people want to talk about. Put them at the bottom so they're there if people need them but out of the way.
