I start this off by stating I am not an expert but I do have a few thoughts!

1. The general site navigation is not consistent or very clear. You have the usual "About Us", "Privacy" links at the bottom of the pages but what about including the main pages' naviagtion as well.

2. You do not have an obvious "Home" link on any pages other than the link on the site logo, which many visitors will not be aware of.

3. I feel that the content on the "Students" and the "Employers" pages (linked from the home page) should be pure text as opposed to being embedded in a gif file. How will a search engine read your site content like this? At least place an alt tag description if you are not going to change it.

4. The photos placed at the top left column of the "Students" and "Employers" pages have been poorly resized, resulting in the images being squashed! I would get the image size sorted out to avoid this unprofessional look.

I hope you will take the above as constructive advice!

I am by no means really qualified to judge your site, as I am fairly new at building sites. As a visitor though, I think that one of the things missing is a clear way to get back to the home page, like just a home link in the left menu. Also your "contact us" page inthe bottom of the site, does not seem to work.

Well, that's my review.

I agree with dojo, especially about the text. Using a template would be fine in this case I think, but you need to be able to customize it properly. The one thing that always gives away a template is the logo. You see this all the time - great looking design + really bad logo = template. It's easy enough just to play with the size and colours of text in the logo (subtly) to get something that looks presentable. Notice how the heading on the front page has used a colour change to draw attention. I don't get the clock reference here either.

I'm a little confused about the navigation area - why only items about CV's???

I see that some of the other pages have a different layout, with an older guy smiling in the corner. Firstly, if the layout should be consistent from page to page (usually!). Secondly, if you're going to put a photo in there I think a picture of a young person on the job might be more appropriate.

It's made of images ... mnake the text into normal text. Looks like a template to me, especially because of the text made into image. It's not ugly, but this is not how a site is meant to be made. Graphics are one thing and the main text should be text so that search engines would have what to use when looking for terms in your pages. I'm talking here about the main page, you seem to have normal text on the others.
