    <description> &lt;p&gt;The basic idea is that when you float a layer (layer 1) to the right of another layer (layer 2) then the vertical alignment of layer 1&#039;s text must be the same distance from the top of the page as layer 2&#039;s text.  Even if layer 2 is being pushed down by layers further above.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Tough for me to explain.&lt;br /&gt;
