&lt;p&gt;I would start by moving your DOCTYPE to the very first line.  Otherwise IE will be thrown into debug mode.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Check out some of those errors and see if fixing them solves your problem.  One more tip is that IE responds to whitespace in your code.  So sometimes this:&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;div class=&quot;codeblock&quot;&gt;&lt;code&gt;&amp;lt;td&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;Hello&lt;br /&gt;&amp;lt;/td&amp;gt;&lt;/code&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&#039;&lt;br /&gt;
and&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;code&gt;&amp;lt;td&amp;gt;Hello&amp;lt;/td&amp;gt;&lt;/code&gt;&#039;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;will not look the same when rendered in IE.  This is especially true with whitespace after img tags.&lt;/p&gt;
