I agree about the over use of different shades of blue.
Especially in the DHTML menu.
It would look much better if the bg color there was maybe a lighter or darker shade of the mouseover color.
Also i'm not sure about the blue border on the circle on the top right.

He means CSS not Javascript for the links.

I don't see Georgia anywhere but I do see TNR in the navbar. That's got to go.

I agree that the design looks rather unprofessional and dated. The globe on the front was just a killer for me. Come on, can't you find anything better than that? It's such a tired symbol that is used so often by organizations that don't have any better ideas.

One thing I'm noticing here is the use of "web design" and "web development" seemingly interchangably. This can be confusing to people, especially if they've been comparison shopping. Usually "web design" mainly means front end graphics & interface, HTML coding, and very little backend work. "Web development" usually concentrates more on the back end (although both can mean many different things to different people. Best to stick the one that most accurately describes what you do).

Oh, the logo, I must mention the logo. That isn't a logo at all, it's just text. A good logo is an absolute must for any organization.

Contact us - you've got a hotmail email address and no phone number??? How is any potential client supposed to take you seriously when they see that?

Thanks for your review, it's very helpful.
A few things though:
1. The Georgia font really looks like Arial on my screen... is it because I don't have the Georgian fornts installed?

2. When you say javascript links, can you give an example?

3. What exactly do you mean my choppy fonts?

4. And I see only 3 circles on my front page, the rest seem fine... any suggestions on what I could add to my front page to make it better?

5. I agree that my portfolio page isn't that impressive... I'm working on it.

Again Thanks for the review. I'm going to try to review other sites later if i feel I have something to contribute.

I have taken a look at your site, and here's my input.(Sounds dirty doesn't it?)

WARNING This is a review, so I must be critical. I apologize if I go too far in my scrutinizing of your hard work, because it truely is a good site with some minimal flaws.

Overview
When I first looked at your site, I instantly noticed the ridiculous amounts of blues and purples you were using all at once, you have to select 3 colours and stick with them. Other things that cought my eyes and particularly bothered me were:

Choppy Font

Underlined Links (they really don't look nice, experiment with the JavaScript)

All the circular shapes

Your use of the Georgia font in the news section

All of these need to be dealt with to make your site more approachable, ultimately enableing you to market the services you provide to a larger extent. A portfolio is supposed to be a page that showcases your skills as a webmaster, and with that site, I doubt you will have any custumers.

Things I liked
After all this critique, I must lay down the welcoming aspects of your site, I really like the way the site is formated, here's a more detailed list:

Formatting

Nav bar is really attractive

Things I didn't like
Georgia font? Purple all over? No, tis is too unprofessional to be called a site, fix these problems ASAP:

Font issues, I can't belive you use the Georgia font in the news section...

Underlined Links (they really don't look nice, experiment with the JavaScript)

All the circular shapes, add squares, triangles, you know, all those things, just don't make your site seem like a big beach ball.

Recommendations
Again with the subdomains... Please do try and get a domain, these days, you need a domain to attract a wider audiance, and end up selling your services. Kill the circles and all the purple. Use some Flash, I normally wouldn't recommend this to anyone, but since you market your services, there is no better way then to use flash in your site, even if it is just a little bit.

And let there be light...
Ok, your site has potential, unharnessed potnetial. Harness it! Take everything you've got and put it into this site, link to your previous creations. Don't use cowboy fonts and get a domain. This will add a level of professionalism to you and your entire line of services. Once you can accomplish the fore-mentioned list of things, you will have a winner.

Free Review, take it as a compliment.
