Yes, the two colours seem to work for the logo, and any good designer would try to continue using them across the site to create an "identity". However, the colours are two harsh when used in the quantities that you are.

Also, double check the font. It looks inconsistent from one paragraph to the next.

I think the colours could use some work, in particular the green. It just seems a little harsh on the eyes directly on the white background for my tastes. Other than that - good!

I like the fact that the design is very clean. Kudos on that.

The color scheme, however, leaves much to be desired. Neon is almost always a bad thing.

Also, all that white space to the right of your logo seems unnecessary. Maybe you're planning to put banner ads there (similar to this site). If so, that's fine, but right now all that white space looks bad.

Also, and this may just be a personal pet peeve, it bugs me that the second and third paragraphs (and their headings) are indented, while the first one isn't.

Clean and simple.

The site loads quickly and is easy to navigate.

In the Forum header there is a bit of text "<< Home >>" This need to be removed but apart from that ... nice.

Anaways, Megan is correct, if it wasn't for the name, I wouldn't have know your sites were in any way affiliated. BTW, don't make your site too much like dog dropins, try and use the same template with a colour variations, jusy make it work for you!

About Dogdropins: DO NOT MAKE YOUR MAIN MENU THE SAME, Dogdropins main menu is the most unprofessional feature of the site, and probably the only one. Try to stick with its design, but don't make your site mirror Dogdropins.
