I like both of them, but neither seems very search engine friendly (good page titles, simple urls). I may just hire a programmer to do it for me. Thanks for the suggestions.

PHP? Try pLog Very stable (or has been for me), good documentation and support, loads of themes and plugins. Works well in a subdirectory.

Easy? Use a 3rd party like Blogger.com. Nothing to install and blogger is quite feature rich and allow multiple authorized users.

Another option: This technically isn't a blog but it is a simple news management system I use on several of my sites, which also allows multiple users. Check out http://cutephp.com/cutenews/ . It's a no-hassle install but you need php. I have one running live here, although I hardly ever update it.
