&lt;p&gt;Usually, you install Linux from CD by putting the CD in the drive and booting up. Unless you got Gentoo or Debian (which I doubt you have), it&#039;ll load up an installation wizard of some kind, depending on the distro...&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;You need to enter the bios and make your computer load from the cd drive, and the setup will walk you through the rest.&lt;/p&gt;
