    <description> &lt;p&gt;What your going to do is once your login&#039;ed to your hosting account via ftp your going to right click on the file you want to chmod and then set the permissions.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Using your hosting company&#039;s control panel or FTP would probably be your best bet. Telnet is another option, but not as easy for beginners.&lt;/p&gt;

    <description> &lt;p&gt;you will need a ftp program in order to do this, or as some host have control panel that lets you do this. if not then look for programs like cuteftp or wsftp to connect  to your webserver. I dont believe dreamweaver have that facility built in.&lt;/p&gt;
