Curve? Do you think you could take a ss and circle what you're talking about?

Sorry, I should have been more clear. What I am refering to is the place where the straight line on the bottom meets the curve.

I think that the content area contributes a lot to the "newbie" image. I'm not happy with it, and I need to play with it to get something I like.

I'm afraid I don't quite understand the "sharpness" of the edge on client login, could you elaborate? I added that line and got rid of the fade on the home link. It looks much better.

I'll see what I can do about the pixel art. The only thing that's not really pixel art is the logo and the nav bar, but I'm working on finding a pixel-ish font for it.

As far as the overlines, I'll take that into consideration, at least for the paragraphs. The people I expect to be reading this are a bit more tech savy than the norm, so I feel confident about going with some artsier stuff that may be a bit confusing.

The first impression that I get when I first viewed your site is "newbie."

Firstly, the navigation bar. I think that this can be improved on a little by trying smooth up the edge that you have for the "Client Login." It's a bit too sharp, I guess. Also, try adding another line to the left of the home link, without it and a colour change just looks too awkward.

I like how you have used pixel art, why not try challenge(?) yourself and make everything or as much possible pixel art? Personally, I quite enjoy pixelart and would like to see more of it. For example, try redesigning what you have now for "Zap Graphics"... it looks too... I don't know... newbieish? What about a logo done with pixelart? Just a thought...

The grey border which abrubtly stops at the bottom doesn't look very nice at all, maybe just get rid of it all together?

Using overlines for your links is - IMHO - not a good effect. It tends to confuse the viewer when it is used in a paragraph. I.E. 'Is " put a lot of wor" underlined?'

Your site degrades very well without CSS. Well Done!

It's a bit messed up in opera.

The same exact page? Yes it is the beginning of a site and not much else, but it's a relatively new page, I only started it last weekend. Abhi, I'll do the save as, thanks.

It's hard to review a site, even if incomplete, without seeing it in a browser. We might be able to help with the hosting problem if you raise a thread in Computer Help.

Another option is to use the File > Save Page As function in your browser to create a static HTML version of the page, so you could host it elsewhere.
