Sorry I should of added a comment about this.
I figured out how to do it - photoshop has option to create as CMYK image (didn't sort of the DPI bit) but after I figured that out my photoshop died on me (half way through the project), went to reinstall and the CD had de-lamiated so I am now photoshopless.

Karenart came to my rescue and saved the day.

If you know any other way to create CMYK images without PS I'd be interested for future reference.
Thanks

Hey, Busy, did you get this sorted out?

You'll end up rezzing up if you are going from a compressed png to 300dpi.

More details (email me if you want) would help.
