    <description> &lt;p&gt;Well you don&#039;t have to be a U.S. resident to get a .us domain, According to the NIC.US website they have accredited Registars not only in the U.S. but also in Canada, Europe and (Oy vey mir) the Middle East.&lt;/p&gt;
