Thanks for the help. I always get good suggestions on this forum. I down loaded some of the anti-scumware suggested by Mark and I had 16 "objects" otherwise known as cookies and advertising junk!
As for my original problem I figured how to save code in Wordpad so that it will work as a web page--- Sometimes I'm a little dense. Thanks for all of your help!

If it's for a personal project, try using TextPad from textpad.com its free for personal use.

Notepad has a 60KB limit per file. If you're saving the file in Wordpad but opening it in Notepad it's not going to work. There are a number of free Notepad replacement programs out there. Give a few of them a try and see how you like them.

I'm sure someone can give you a more technical answer, but I'll give you one anyways. You get the error message because your RAM (Random Access Memory) is all being used by programs that are running, even though they may not be in your taskbar.

Any icon you see in your system tray (where the clock is) is a program running; try closing some of those. Also, there are programs running that are not in the System Tray or the Taskbar. If you press CRTL + ALT + DELETE once you'll get a popup (In XP it's Windows Task Manager) with all of the running processes (programs) running on your computer. You can close some of these, but be careful what you close, if you close a critical system program you'll make your computer crash. I would suggest only closing things you know.

Another possibility is that you have a lot of Spyware/Adware running on your computer. Download Lavasoft Adaware and Spybot Search and Destroy to scan your computer for any of that bad stuff.
