Can the Nav bar blue be pulled across so it meets the Darker Line blue all the way down the page? it looks a bit odd with the straight line some white then the slanted blue.

I actually did use CSS for the links, apparently I didn't dress them up enogh . Yeah I was planning on adding some sort of bottom eventually, I just haven't got around to it yet. I kinda like the nave bard seperate from that darker line.. :\ even though it may be odd.

The first thing I was drawn to was the title on the right side. It's sort of funny looking. I think you've gone too casual with the lower font. The size change in the main title is a little odd too. Find a way to make that more pominent, either by making it bigger or moving it out of the box you've got it in.

I do like those lines of varying widths across the page. I like how you've broken from the straight line, 90 degree lines normally used in web design.

More font conflicts are occuring futher down with the page header. You've got a very formal script in the background and a crisp sans in the foreground. It's generally a good idea not to use too many specialty fonts within a design. Espeically when it comes to really decorative fonts like the one you have in the logo and the welcome background.

I've just noticed the lightly textured background on the outer edges. That's a nice touch.

Thanks for such a detailed critique. I'm going to get rid of some of the darker pictures to hopefully increase load time. I couldn't decide whether to keep the "odd" size change in the title or not. Then I thought, that the person I was making it for wanted it a little childish, so I just kept it. I will edit that image and save it and see which one looks better. The font I used may be too casual, but it is actually less casual than what the person wanted originally. The welcome image I didn't make for that site, I did it for another site I had made (http://www.koa.planetubh.com/e/), and I just liked it so I added it to this site. You are probably right about having too many specialty fonts though.

Yeah, I guess that's because it had to load all of the pictures (there's 8 in all). I'm not sure why the wave thing took a while. The blinking at reload doesn't happen on IE. I use firefox, so I see what you were talking about, but I don't know a script that fades smoothly in all browsers. I can probably take off some of the dark pictures to make it load faster.
