Yeah... OS Commerce comes with an admin area that allows you to setup pretty much all aspects of the site (products, prices, options etc).

theres an easy to install module that adds a simple template system for OScommerce that means that anybody with a bit of knowledge can customise the templates really well.

Drop me an email (andy@greendezire.com) and I'll give you a hand setting up.

I'll need the following details:

FTP username
FTP password
FTP address
MySQL username
MySQL password
MySQL database name
MySQL host address
Folder you want installing in

That should be everything.

k, that's funny. i had just read some posts in another forum about oscommerce. i went and chked it out and dl'd it just in case. but the posts in that forum, said that you end up getting 20 pages deep to change a value and that it was a major hassle. what do u think?

also, i am all for it, if it will allow a (for lack of a better word) "lamer" to go to a page and add new items or delete old ones, and change prices. he needs to b able to do it w/o any actuall code editing.

if you really can help me set it up, i'll be very gratefull.

Just checked... Once something is in your cart, OSCommerce always displays it in the left menu, so a standard installation will do.

use OSCommerce... it's practically self installing and if you can't cope with it, I could always install it for you... only takes about 10 minutes (MAX). Have a look at the demo at oscommerce.com and if you like it drop me a line.

I don't know about showing the cart on the pages, but I'm sure theres a module that lets you do it. (again... should install nice and easily).
