It looks like you may have too many forums for your page. From what I've seen it's generally easier to get a forum going with less categories and then expand as your membership increases.

Have to agree about the windows Icons and the hideous google ad colours, a real turn off, otherwise i like it, nice and tight and neat!

I agree about the width issue, it's not a good idea to limit forums to a certain width, it just creates a lot of unnecessary scrolling. The google ads are borderline offensive, by now everyone can recognize a google ad regaurdless of its color scheme, if they want to click on it they will, you don't have to shove it in their face.

The google ads don't go with the rest of it, so they stick out way too much. I like the blue, though I really hate windows icons on websites.

The banner doesn't really have anything to do with development, but it does look cool, granted.

Over all, I like it, but I would make your own icons. I really like the splatter stars and envelopes.
