Thanks for pointing out that article Megan it sure helped alot in how I will design. I changed the commentary off the main page and made that its own site page under news/updates just in case people wanna see whats going on with the site. I also tried to do some Pull on the main page. Does this look better or should I give it another go? I will have more stuff on the front but right now my content is limited.

Nice header graphic, try using a sans-serif font like verdana, it's a little easier on the eyes and looks a little cleaner. I don't have much time for gaming these days so I can't really comment on the content. the menu could definatly be tightened up a little.

Over all, it's good start, keep tweaking!

I just quickly looked at front page. Graphics and colors works very well. The dark theme is also suitable for that topic. But the pop up really p*****s me off. You shoud also consider easier domain. How about free cjb.net domain? http://www.cjb.net

That link wouldn't work in Opera for some reason. It does okay when I hack of the page-news.php, but then the content doesn't appear.

That's not TNR. It could be Garamond. Let me just check and see if I"m right Well, I was right about the first part. It's not TNR, it's a combo of Georgia and Book Antiqua. I'm not too good at identifying fonts (and use some CSS! Would make your life so much easier). I think it provides some uniqueness to the site anyway. Not sure if it's the best choice.

So, yet another gaming site. I get tired of reviewing gaming sites since we see so many here. This one isn't bad though. Usually people have those three column PHP-nuke layouts, which I hate, so this is quite nice. I do hate it when people put a running commentary of their site improvements on the front page (who cares ???).

Otherwise this doesn't look bad. The top graphic looks really fuzzy to me, and you can't really read the site title since it's rotated and pushed over to the side so much. The text under it (FFVII ... etc) looks really smooshed too. I think those should link to the corresponding sections too.

Looks good, I would vary the fonts a bit, it gets tiring seeing all the Times New Roman font.
