I can't set my resolution to 1300, but I view it at 124x768, and it doesn't look too bad. A little stretched out, but not terrible.
The there's a broken image link (I haven't been thinking lately) is because I'm changing hosts for the time being, and haven't been updating the freewebs one. the real site can be found at http://www.angeltowns2.com/members/bassdesigns/index.html

DaveyBoy, I thank you for your concern, but of the three starts of designs, you have told me that I can't do it twice. This is my sort of personal page, as I am learning many new skills during the process of building these sites, and have not even mentioned the site to prospective customers yet. I have not been able to think of any personal sites that I care to do, or redo. I am enhancing my skills by making a site that I have a reason to finish, and to care about how it looks. That will drive me to keep trying new ideas as I learn and enhance new skills.

To sum it up: From the feedback I have received on this forum, I am using this site to "enhance" my skills, and is not intended to be a real business site in the current state, so I would appreciate you not telling me that I'm not ready any more.

The red, white and blue one has issues still thou.
NEVER use width="100%" on an image (your banner), the banner doesn't show (broken image) but the properties of the image show width is 784 wide, set your screen to 1300xwhatever and view that banner at 100% - eeek

Good to see your using only CSS for the navigation
those colours are bright.

seen three start sof designs from you now and i'm still convinced you aren't of the standard to be able to offer web design services. Try making some personal site, to enhance your skills before moving into the business.

horziontal scroll bar at 800x600,
set your margins to 0, your design needs it, also might loose some of the scroll

hmmm you can't have width="800" to fit a 800x600, max is 760 width (have to allow for browser margin, scroll bar etc), your better off going for width="100%" anyways

As for the colours, wouldn't be my first choice, rather loud

Erm, why are you bothering to ask us to review the site if it isn't anywhere near done yet?

It's small wonder that you're getting negative reviews, with a site that's not even half-finished! It would be better if you completed the site - or reached near completion -before asking us to review it.

Ok. Thanks for the info. That's definently something to know. I knew that price fixing was illegal, but I wasn't sure how it applied here.

coGeek: I am planning on getting a .com, just not right away. I would like to get all my content done before I pay for a .com. That way, I'm not paying for something just to ask people what they think. If that makes any sense... Just forget it.

What this law means is that groups of professionals can't get together and decide what to charge for a service. You can picture a bunch of lawyers in a room talking about what their hourly rate should be. This is illegal in Canada and the US and probably elsewhere as well. Now, when you go online, things get a little less clear. Surely we aren't discussing what a common rate should be. However, asking someone if your prices are suitable is almost the same thing. We could argue about that, but in general TWF would rather stay away from discussion of pricing just in case. You'll find this to be the case at most professional forums.
