Yes you can run batch operations in PhotoPaint on a PC. On a mac it's slightly different. However it's usually better to do that sort of thing one at a time.

My guess of 'slow' is image size, most scanners and even digital cameras are set to big when they need only to be small.
If it is the image size resize them all first.

Note: if they are .jpg resizing more than once will distort them in most image programs if compression is set. so maybe convert all to .bmp or better yet .png first

Depending on what you want to do, Irfanview (from irfanview.com) is a small freeware image program that does some batch processing, ie using the thumbnail option you can set a high size and have all images converted to that size. Using the shortcut keys you can quickly enhance, resize, adjust colour, rotate etc and by just clicking the next or previous arrow up top for next image you don't have to open each image seperatly.

Can you run any batch operations using Photo Paint? I normally use Photoshop so I can't help with the software specifics there. That way you'll be able to run some basic operations on many photos at once.

What do you mean by slow, exactly? The program itself is taking a long time to perform operations? Or the work you are doing by hand is too time consuming?
