I think the site looks good. First issue I see is the nav bar on the left? You have to click a category and then the link. Not sure the SEs are going to like that. Oh it looks like javascript, the SEs definately aren't going to like that. Your site wont get its internal pages indexed. I didn't see a site map either. If you are going to use Javascript links I'd recommend putting one on your index page.

First thing I noticed was it loads funny, the top, 3 seconds later the navigation bar, and then the content. I am not too familiar with blogs but it looks nice. I like the colors and the layout. The logo is kind of lame, boring. Fix that and the load up and you're going to be fine.
