Any differences are mainly a matter of personal preference. Just because I personally prefer Opera doesn't mean that I think all other browsers are no good. Mozilla is great. Use it, by all means.

Not to worry. I wasn't trying to start one either. I was comparing them simply because I use Mozilla... only re-evaluating my position.

Not entirely true. If my audience is people who use, say, Linux, then IE is simply out of the question. Opera becomess a major player, afaiac. This is now the case with at least one site I'm making (blog). But I agree that, in general, it doesn't matter all that much.

Besides, I'd still like to know, out of interest, what's changed. Always helps to be informed.

Opera has had a mail client for a long time now. I don't know how far back, I just started using it with v. 7. It's very unique, and I like it a lot. Very different method of organizing messages.

Last I checked, Opera had a couple of gaping holes in CSS, which put Mozilla in front.

I wish that changelog went into more detail. I'd like to know specifically what's new with CSS and Javascript support.

The new UI arrangement looks good. Kind of reminds me of Firefox's UI. Firefox also has a notes extension, which I believe functions similarly.

I find it a little odd that Opera is including a chat and mail client now, and Mozilla is branching off with Firefox and such.

Anyway, trust me to compare it with Mozilla. /me goes off to download the Linux Opera. (Too bad it's Qt though.)
