    <description> &lt;p&gt;If you&#039;re going to embed video, use a different file format, such as mpeg -- you can import it into Flash as well. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Offering a set of choices is good. Flash will allow you to have it in the page as well as offering choices, but it&#039;s probably easiest to allow linking to download the file.&lt;/p&gt;

    <description> &lt;p&gt;A *good* webmaster would NOT have the file embedded in the page. Link to it with a text link and/or image and include the file size in the description.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;That way they can choose to download and view when they want. They can go have coffee or something while they wait for that massive download *IF* you give them a choice.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;A good webmaster/developer/designer will always give the end user a choice when it come to mutimedia files.&lt;/p&gt;

    <description> &lt;p&gt;296 megs!!! On dial up that would take a day or two. A good sized site is no more than 80 kilobytes, that file is a billion times bigger than it should be. I would compress that thing to 5 megabytes, anything lower would load faster, what is it about anyway?&lt;/p&gt;
